Hi everyone and welcome to Day 3 of the...Sew Sweet 1st Birthday celebrations!
To celebrate this wonderful occasion, the Sew Sweet DT and guests are posting projects and inspiration using Sew Sweet products all week (2-6 April) here on the Sew Sweet blog ... and today it's my turn (Ingrid) :-)
I want to show you two projects, I couldn't choose ;-) A card and a stuffed pig.
For the stuffed toy I used scraps of fabric and two different colors of wool felt from the Sew Sweet shop. For the legs Cocoa and for the muzzle Naturel. I embroidered the face with DMC yarn. There are deffinitely coming more animals to our house soon! ;)
My card has a craft cardstock base and measures 14 x 14 cm. I used black webbed ribbon and the new glittered velvet ribbon, also in black. Further you see two blue buttons, from a button mix.
The image is a stamp from Whiff of Joy, "Campfire Fun", that I colored with copic markers. The round sentiment stamps is from Lili of the Valley and the sentiment on the tag is a stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps. The corner I made with a die from Crealies (CL CC 04/06).
Here is a close up from the Sew Sweet products I used.
Don't forget that if you place an order at the Sew Sweet store this week (2-6 April) you will win a prize that may even be a fabulous £50.00 gift voucher! Woo-hoo!
And that's not all - every day this week (2-6 April) Emma is giving away a goodie bag worth £10.00 to a random Sew Sweet blog commenter! 5 days means 5 goodie bags and 5 chances to win! All you need to do is make sure you leave a comment on each Sew Sweet blog post each day this week, Monday to Friday!
Thanks you so much for dropping by. Hope to see you tommorrow when one of my collegues will present you another project!
