You're #1 in my book

Happy Tiddly Tuesday :) This weeks challenge at Tiddly Inks is to create a reading-inspired project.
Your project can be based on a book, or just a general reading theme.
I went for a general reading theme because my imagination left me this weekend and i couldn't think of one based on a book that hasnt already been done a zillion times. Plus, i really really wanted to use 'School Girl' I just love her, isnt she the cutest!

I have made this set for my daughter, she goes back to school next week. I also made a matching bookmark which has been laminated (why haven't i ever thought of making these bookmarks before???)

Ive used Seam binding in a brand new colour ' Teal' available pre-crinkled or Flat
Ive just added 14 new colours of Seam Binding to the Sew Sweet shop


The Seam Binding bow has been finished off with a vintage red Button & Kraft button Twine

    This turned out so fabulous. I love the seam binding. I keep seeing them, but haven't picked myself up any yet, yours looks super yummy.

    This is a fantastic sketch, I particularly love the grid DP pattern. Love that you lamented the bookmark, clever idea.
