Clearing out and new storage

Hi peeps, how are you all? Today i thought i would have a little clean up of the sewing studio. I feel so much more inspired when my room is clean and organised, dont you?
Anyway, i really needed to sort out a better system to store my threads as i just have too many, and my collection is rapidly growing. Here's my new solution.

These storage boxes are fantastic, i have loads of them now in my Ikea units (they fit perfectly) They can be found on the website Really Useful products and dont cost the earth.

My new wool felt Storage box is so cool lol
My wool felt stash before was all in one big plastic box, now its all placed lovingly into a colour coordinated tray. I love it. Even better, when i do my night time sewing in the lounge i can now just wheel my wool felt in.

That is a really nice way to keep scrap felt organised so you can actually use it up!
I am always on the lookout for some nice storage :)

Ooooh, I love sorting out my stash but it never stays tidy for long! I use similar storage for my bits of cardstock!

Thx for sharing!

My cotton reels all live in a biscuit tin and a Quality Street tin!

I'd love to get some of those coloured drawers for my fabric stash but sadly don't have a spare inch left in my flat for them... I'll just covert yours!
